C&D Industrial Services Limited's Marine and Offshore Division based on Tyneside has secured a circa £50 million contract to fabricate, supply and install HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) Systems to IMTECH Marine Group who are a leading contractor working for the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) on the Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth Class carriers project. The contract, which is one of the largest contract orders won by the company, is for HVAC ducting and related equipment, which will be fabricated at C&D's purpose built production facility which is located in Jarrow.
Installation will be carried out by C&D's experienced team at construction yards in Portsmouth, Govan, Tyneside, Merseyside and Rosyth, where final assembly of the 65,000 tonne Aircraft Carriers will take place. The contract is expected to last over 8 years.
